There is something unexplainable that draws me back to Japan time and time again. My last visit here was in 2017. I had planned on coming back much sooner but unexpected life events changed those plans. Along with the whole world, Japan went into lockdown in 2020. Unlike the whole world however...

Montreal Night city
The sun is down, the lights have turned on and Montreal puts on a different show. There’s something about photographing the city streets after dark that captivates me. Walking down alleyways and unknown streets alone, photographing the night life or lack thereof is strangely relaxing for me. Road...

A touch of red
Taking photographs based on a color theme. I’ve heard this suggestion before but have never tried it until now. For this series, I chose red since it’s an abundant color throughout the city. The whole process was quite enjoyable and a nice change of pace from the other regular subjects.

At the crossroads
The areas near Chinatown and the Old Port are some of my favorite places of Montreal. Whether it’s during the hot summer days, the windy autumn nights or the glacial winter mornings, I love coming here for photos.

Ruelles in the fall

Colours of Montreal
Walking around the Plateau Mont-Royal in late October is a great way to discover beautiful Montreal sceneries. The cool weather, the classic rows of houses/apartments, the fall foliage and Halloween decorations all come together as if to complete a wonderful urban puzzle.

Wedding in the Old Port
Wedding photos in the Old Port of Montreal. Classic. On some given days, during the summer, it’s not surprising to catch a few brides and their photographs running around to get those perfect shots.
